# Lock KINE for xKINE

#### With KINE available in wallet, user can lock KINE to get rewards

Connect to Kine Staking dApp, click "Lock" - "Approve" , then user will see corresponding amount of xKINE in the panel as per the last xKINE/KINE price. When new rewards allocated to the xKINE/KINE pool, xKINE will appreciate against KINE, so if user unlock his/her xKINE then, more KINE will be allocated to his/her wallet comparing to earlier. Note that there is a 2% unlock fee, so is it encouraged for users to lock their KINE for longer periods.
